U.S. Cellular Field, Chicago, Illinois
CHICAGO -- Kevin Youkilis wasted little time introducing himself to the crowd at U.S. Cellular Field.
Youkilis connected in his first at-bat in his new home, starting a three-homer barrage in the opening inning against Roy Oswalt and sending the White Sox to a 19-2 rout of the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night.Cries of "Youk, Youk, Youk" soon began to ring out across the stadium. And Youkilis finished with three hits and four RBIs, helping All-Star Chris Sale sail to his 10th victory behind Chicago's highest-scoring game of the season.More From ESPNChicago.com

Research Notes
Roy Oswalt is the 1st Rangers pitcher to allow 13+ hits in consecutive outings. He is just the 2nd AL pitcher to do that in the last 50 years. The other was Livan Hernandez in 2008 for the Twins. | ||||||||
Roy Oswalt was effective in his first start of the season back on June 22nd against the Rockies but he's struggled mightily since...Oswalt allowed 5 earned runs in 6 innings vs the Tigers in his second start and things got much worse for him on Tuesday night against the White Sox as he allowed a career-high 9 earned runs in just 4 and two-thirds innings, raising his ERA for the season to 7.79.
