Jurickson Profar will lead off and play second base for the Rangers jn place of Rougned Odor, who begins his seven-game suspension today for nailing Toronto's Jose Bautista in the jaw with a perfect right hand.

The Dodgers insist that while there is an outline for how they see Julio Urias' season progressing, there are no guarantees past the 19-year-old's debut Friday at New York. "He's at 90 pitches tonight, and after tonight we'll all sit down and evaluate going forward what is best for Julio as well as the organization," manager Dave Roberts said. So whether Urias starts in five days at Wrigley Field against the Cubs remains to be seen.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts admitted to being "anxious" in advance of Julio Urias' major league debut Friday at New York. The 19-year-old left-hander is the Dodgers' top prospect and is considered by many as the top prospect in all of baseball.

I'm not sure who will start for the Diamondbacks on Monday. Zack Godley would be a logical guess, but he pitched for Triple-A Reno on Thursday so he'd be on three days' rest.

Looks like Archie Bradley might be in the Diamondbacks rotation for a more extended stay this time, with Shelby Miller and Rubby De La Rosa on the DL. Bradley a top-90 caliber SP stash, but not more.

Peter O'Brien's recall is exciting news for fantasy owners but let's not go overboard quite yet. The Diamondbacks have the DH in Houston June 1-2 so this could be mainly with that in mind. Could be a Joey Gallo thing... though I'd stash in case it's not!

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says they will talk about whether Julio Urías will stay in rotation or not after his start today.

It turns out Mark Teixeira will not take BP before tonight's game. The plan tonight is treatment only and if the cortisone shot takes effect he might give it a shot tomorrow. The earliest he could play again is Sunday's series finale but that is very much up in the air.

Asked if he cared to comment about his major league debut, Clayton Kershaw didn't even wait for a Julio Urias question to be asked. "He's just better. He's just better than I was at 19. Much better," Kershaw said about his teenage teammate, who will make his major league debut Friday. At 20-years old, Kershaw threw 102 pitches during his debut on May 25, 2008, giving up two runs on five hits of a no-decision against the Cardinals, while striking out seven.

Matt Adams, who left Thursday's game with back spasms, said he felt better today and expects to be available as a pinch hitter.
