Yu Darvish aiming for May or June return

The Rangers' All-Star SP missed all of 2015 following Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. He said his rehabilitation is going well and felt he could throw 95 mph if the team would let him. Darvish is 39-25 with a 3.27 ERA and 680 strikeouts in 545 1/3 career innings.

Tanaka returns to mound after surgery

Yankees P Masahiro Tanaka threw off a bullpen mound for the first time since having arthroscopic surgery to remove a bone spur from his right elbow in October. Tanaka went 12-7 with a 3.51 ERA last season.

Mat Latos agrees with White Sox

The free-agent RHP agreed to a one-year, $3M with Chicago, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick and media reports. Latos, 28, had a 4.95 ERA with a 4-10 record last season with the Marlins and Dodgers.
