Lester solid, with one exception

Cubs SP Jon Lester struck out 10 Reds in his start tonight, but his inability to control the running game hurt him. Billy Hamilton swiped 3 bags off of him and scored 2 runs.

Lester hitting for himself here. At 104 pitches...I like it. Was strongest in last 2 innings. Unless he's still coming out. Then I don't.

Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN

Looks like Jose Abreu might be hurt, after a weird play on a tag. He's on the ground and seemingly grabbing his side.

Heyward starting to heat up

Jason Heyward was hitting .192 just a few days ago, but after a couple good games, he's back over the Mendoza Line. He just hit his 2nd home run of the year, giving the Cardinals a 2-0 lead in Milwaukee. Follow live
