The Brewers "reengaged" the Mets today regarding a trade for catcher Jonathan Lucroy, although no deal is considered close, Foxsports.com reported. Sandy Alderson said earlier this week that any initial proposal was dead on arrival.

Matt Szczur will start in left field while Ben Zobrist is in right. Anthony Rizzo is the lone lefty in the lineup as left handers are hitting just .189 off Sale this year. Righties are hitting .221.

According to one GM the Dodgers are "in" on almost every part of the trade market from top starters Sale and Archer to top relievers Davis and Miller to top bats like Bruce and Cargo and will certainly be an interesting team to watch as the Monday deadline approaches.
