St. Louis trades for struggling Brewers reliever Jonathan Broxton, according to ESPN and multiple reports. In 36.2 innings this season, Broxton has a 5.89 ERA.

Reds-Mets talking Wheeler-Bruce swap

Medical information is being reviewed for a potential trade including Mets SP Zack Wheeler and Reds OF Jay Bruce, according to ESPN's Adam Rubin. New York turns to Bruce (.257 BA, 17 HRs) after a trade for Carlos Gomez fell through. Wheeler is recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Report: Orioles getting Gerardo Parra

Baltimore has agreed to trade minor leaguer Zach Davies for Brewers OF Parra pending physicals, according to ESPN and multiple reports. Parra's in the midst of an MLB-best 14-game hitting streak. He would be the second outfielder dealt by Milwaukee in as many days (Carlos Gomez on Thursday).
