Manager Joe Maddon is big on civic pride and off-beat bonding rituals, so today each Cubs player boarded the team flight to St. Louis wearing a Blackhawks jersey with their own name and Cubs uniform number on the back. Blackhawks host the Wild tonight in the second round of the NHL playoffs.

Angels @Angels

As we go to the 9th, the Angels will look to mount a comeback trailing 5-0. @Trouty20 will lead things off.

St. Louis Cardinals @Cardinals

Peter Bourjos ties it with an infield single scoring Kozma, knocked down by Harrison to save the game. Tied 2-2 and Matt Holliday up!

No running on Padres' Norris

Michael McKenry just tried to steal second base with Derek Norris behind the plate. Bad idea. Norris threw him out, the 10th baserunner he's caught stealing this season. Not a bad way to bolster the 2-run HR he hit earlier, as the Padres lead the Rockies 6-5. Follow live
