Complete coverage: Say It Ain't Sosa

Sammy Sosa
Sammy Sosa's bat was shattered by first-inning pitch.

When Sammy Sosa broke his bat in the first inning on Tuesday against Tampa Bay, he uncorked a storm of controversy. Umpires found that Sosa's bat had cork in it and immediately ejected him from the game.

Said Sosa: "It's a mistake, and I take the blame for it."

The ejection set off a flood of controversy. ESPN.com has it covered from a variety of angles, which appear on the right-hand side of this page.
