MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers say longtime groundskeeper Jeff Adcock has died after collapsing at a game over the weekend.
The team says the 51-year-old Adcock collapsed in the home bullpen against the Diamondbacks on Sunday. The game was delayed at the top of the second inning, though the team did not release details at the time. Adcock died at an area hospital.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner noted Adcock likely died of natural causes but they are still investigating the cause.
Adcock was the grounds crew lead and had worked for the Brewers for 33 years. Last fall, head groundskeeper Gary Vanden Berg died after a long battle with cancer.
