Travis Hafner on paternity list

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Cleveland Indians placed designed hitter Travis Hafner on the paternity list on Wednesday and recalled utility player Vinny Rottino from Triple-A Columbus.
Hafner can remain on the paternity list for a maximum of three days. He is hitting .230 with 10 home runs and 29 RBIs in 50 games.
The 32-year-old Rottino was claimed off waivers on June 27 from the New York Mets and hit .299 in 30 games with Columbus. He has a career .188 batting average in 44 games in the majors with Milwaukee, Florida and the Mets.
