Placido Polanco activated by Phillies

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Phillies have activated third baseman Placido Polanco from the disabled list and sent infielder Hector Luna to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Polanco, who was sidelined with lower back inflammation since July 23, was in the starting lineup and batting seventh against Cincinnati on Monday night.
Polanco is batting .255 with two homers and 19 RBIs. Kevin Frandsen started 20 games in Polanco's absence and is hitting .329 with a homer and six RBIs.
