Rays' Brett Blaise suspended

NEW YORK -- A minor leaguer in the Tampa Bay Rays' organization has been suspended for 50 games for testing positive for an amphetamine.
The commissioner's office announced the penalty for left-hander Brett Blaise on Tuesday. Blaise is on the roster of the Gulf Coast Rays, and his suspension begins next season.
