MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins have placed outfielder Aaron Hicks on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain.

Hicks left the nightcap of Sunday's day-night doubleheader against the Nationals in Washington.

To replace Hicks on the roster, the Twins will recall outfielder Oswaldo Arcia from Triple-A Rochester before Tuesday's game against Philadelphia.

Arcia has appeared in 30 games in two previous stints with Minnesota this season, hitting .255 with four home runs and 14 RBIs.
