Joe Mauer named AL Player of the Week

Twins first baseman Joe Mauer has been selected as the American League Player of the Week. Mauer batted .440 with seven runs scored, four home runs and seven RBIs over six games through the period ending on May 29 to earn his third career AL Player of the Week award.
