Gennett finally ends streak of solo HRs
Scooter Gennett hit a two-run homer in the Brewers' 4-2 win on Wednesday. Each of his previous 11 HRs were of the solo variety, dating back to June 16, 2015, per the Elias Sports Bureau. Before his two-run shot, Gennett was homerless in 201 consecutive at-bats with at least one runner on base.

Thornburg has held opponents to one hit in 13 at-bats with the bases loaded during his major league career, but he has walked six of the 21 batters he has faced in that situation and hit another of those batters with a pitch, the Elias Sports Bureau notes.
