If the Guinness Book of World Records had an entry for shortest MMA title reign, at worst Fujita would tie for the top spot. The strong Japanese wrestler didn't last a day. As the Pride tournament moved to the final stages, that meant the winner would need to score three victories in a single evening. Fujita did the deed in his first contest, a decision over a struggling Kerr. But he had nothing left, and threw in the towel to Coleman a few hours later.
