If Rich Franklin avoids the early knockout, he beats Cung Le. As the fight goes into later rounds, Le will tire and all of those made-for-movie strikes will slow way down. Franklin does get hit, especially when he faces counterpunchers. He doesn't have great hand speed, so he's often exposed when he throws. That's not a huge concern with Le, though. Le doesn't throw much moving backward and he's far less efficient on the inside. He can be tricky to find range against, but Franklin is capable of walking him down and when he is on the outside, his size and reach advantage will help negate Le's unorthodox style. Le has an iron chin, so he'll hang around, but he's less and less scary with every passing minute.
