BREAKDOWN

At 155 pounds, an undersized Frankie Edgar had to be perfect every night. That doesn't change if he wants to beat Jose Aldo. Edgar does have strengths in this matchup. He's one of the best at dictating range -- he had to be, after fighting bigger guys for so long. He gets in and out, he slips punches and he times takedowns. He has this phenomenal, natural ability to catch kicks, which could be huge against Aldo. His wrestling skills are undervalued and previous Aldo opponents have had some success -- obviously limited success but still success -- holding him against the fence. The huge question is how much Edgar's speed advantage saved him at 155, because he won't have it here. Aldo is lightning-fast and explosive.
