BREAKDOWN

Crazy stuff is going down in this one. Standing, it's a toss up. Anthony Pettis has said Donald Cerrone is at his best when moving forward, so expect Pettis to pressure, but that will be an adjustment for him. He's not an inside-first fighter. Both these guys like to press but still keep a kickboxing distance. Cerrone has an edge in pure power, but Pettis has more ability to catch you with one you don't see coming. They're both slick on the ground offensively and defensively. Neither is likely to really wrestle with the other, but Pettis would do it before Cerrone. Mentally, an advantage has to go to Pettis. He's shown composure in tight spots and Cerrone has a history of slow starts and allowing his emotions to affect him.
