The first female fight in UFC history sure looks like a mismatch to me.
Is Liz Carmouche a better standup fighter than Ronda Rousey? Answer: Who cares? We'll never find out. Carmouche is aggressive, as most female fighters are. She's not a stick-and-move, circle, use-her-footwork kind of gal. She'll engage with Rousey and, eventually, get into a clinch. And we know when you get into a clinch with Rousey you end up on the mat. Now, Carmouche does have a solid wrestling base. When her fights go to the floor, she's usually on top. But that's a trend that won't continue in this fight, against an Olympic Judoka. Carmouche is tough as nails, athletically strong and an underrated offensive wrestler -- but Rousey is Rousey.
