Stipe Miocic does plenty of things well, but not one specific thing to point to and say, "That's what beats Roy Nelson." He's a technical boxer -- good head movement, crisp jab -- but if he boxes with Nelson for three rounds, he gets knocked out. One technique won't work on the feet against Nelson, because he'll eventually walk through it and land the right. Miocic needs to mature overnight here, add wrinkles to his game that will catch Nelson off guard. If he simply tries to be the better boxer and maybe cash in a takedown if it's there, he'll lose. Nelson tends to cover up high, so go hard to the body, avoid the right and wear him out as much as possible.
