MMA Power Rankings: Flyweight

In the flyweight division's first big spotlight, Demetrious Johnson had to make a comeback against challenger John Dodson. It went like this: Dodson came out fast, knocked "Mighty Mouse" down a couple of times with his big right hand in the second round, and looked like the spoiler (yet again). Then he began to fade. Or was it that the 125-pound champion Johnson got stronger in the championship rounds? In any event, Johnson's quicks, his precision and chin all came into play as the fight wore on, and in the end it was his hand that Big John McCarthy raised. Johnson adapted and he persevered on the big stage. And one thing seems certain in the UFC's young history with the flies -- rematches are going to be inevitable. Johnson is likely to face the Ian McCall/Joseph Benavidez winner next, each of whom he's already beaten. And after that display, who would argue if matchmaker Sean Shelby wanted to play back Johnson/Dodson?
