MMA Power Rankings: Flyweight
Tuesday, July 30
Well. That didn't take long. Seems like just yesterday UFC president Dana White was announcing the addition of the flyweight division. Today, he's admitting Demetrious Johnson has pretty much cleaned it out. Of course, there's still work to do for Johnson at 125 pounds, but all the obvious opponents for him when this thing started -- Joseph Benavidez, Ian McCall, John Dodson -- yeah, he has beaten all of them. His latest masterpiece, a five-round throttling of John Moraga, which ended with the challenger in a nasty armbar, was a terrific example of just how good Mighty Mouse is. Johnson is already talking about a potential superfight at bantamweight -- that still seems premature. Keep flying high as a fly, DJ. We're having fun watching you at 125.
