MMA Power Rankings -- Light Heavyweight

There was a lot of curiosity as to how Rashad Evans would look against whoever he faced at UFC 133, whether it was Jon Jones, Phil Davis, Lyoto Machida or Tito Ortiz (each of whom had either signed on or agreed to fight him on that card at one point or another). It ended up being Ortiz, who now serves as a cautionary tale to whoever Evans' next opponent becomes.
After 14 months off and a lot of personal reinvention, Evans looks like the most viable threat to Jon Jones, a.k.a the bane of his existence. Evans' motivation is soaring. He looks hungry. He looks aggressive. He's the best-looking "Suga" we've seen to date.
The rest of the 205-pound division is shaking up. Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson could be making his way over to the UFC, and a unification bout for the 205-pound straps could end up happening in the near future. To establish it, the UFC -- which has a way of listening to fan requests -- could put together a fight with fellow Pride legend Mauricio Rua. Rua returned to form against Forrest Griffin at UFC 134, reminding everybody (or in the very least making the case) that the Jones fight was an aberration. Griffin, needless to say, takes a hit in this week's power rankings by showing up against Rua as a shell of his usual self.See how they were ranked here.
