Power Rankings: Middleweight
Thursday, Oct. 31
There's a new kid, just moved into the middleweight division. Lyoto Machida's reputation precedes him and he owned up to every bit of it in a first-round knockout over Mark Munoz in his 185-pound debut. Machida has always possessed a difficult style to prepare for. It felt like the bigger opponents of 205 were starting to develop a blueprint for it -- that changes at middleweight. Machida is well-built for this weight class and he's still one of the quickest athletes in the division. He's 35, but moves like he's 28. He immediately debuts on this list at No. 4, with expectations to rise further.See how they were ranked here.
