Even in defeat, Anderson Silva leaves us breathless. For six years, Silva has dominated the UFC middleweight division in a truly unprecedented way. He didn't just defend his title; he painted works of art in the Octagon every time he entered it. Back-to-back losses to Chris Weidman this year followed in that tradition. It's hard to predict which one will be remembered more -- the goof-off second-round knockout he suffered with his hands down or the heartbreaking image of him grabbing for his mutilated left leg. If he ever does choose to fight again, win or lose, you can bet we'll all be watching.
