Power Rankings: Pound-for-pound
Monday, Oct. 29
What a strange few months it's been with all the injuries and circumstances surrounding UFC pay-per-views. Yet in a stretch of seven weeks we should see the consensus top three pound-for-pound MMA practitioners in the world compete -- starting with Jon Jones, who defended his 205-pound belt for the fourth time against Vitor Belfort on Sept. 22, and ending with Georges St. Pierre, who comes back after a year-and-a-half absence to defend the welterweight strap against Carlos Condit in November. In the meantime, there's a fun fight at UFC 153 on Oct. 13 between Anderson Silva and stalwart Stephan Bonnar. By the time we enter the winter months, will it still be Silva, Jones and St. Pierre as the top three P4P fighters? We'll soon find out.
