Officials announced the 145-pound title fight on Friday. The televised event will take place at Winstar World Casino.
The two met previously in a five-round title fight in January 2013. Curran (20-5) successfully defended the belt for the second time via split decision. He eventually lost the title to Daniel Straus late last year, but reclaimed it in March.
Freire (21-2) cruised through a featherweight tournament last fall, collecting three consecutive wins in the span of three months. He was forced to wait for his shot at the belt when Curran was granted an immediate rematch with Straus.
"I've been wanting this rematch with Curran for a long time and it's finally here," stated Freire. "I won that first fight and I should be Bellator featherweight champion right now. This time, I'm not letting it go to the judges."
ESPN.com ranks Curran and Freire the Nos. 6 and 10 featherweights in the world, respectively.
