A UFC light heavyweight contest featuring Anthony Johnson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has been added to a UFC on Fox event on July 26 in San Jose.

The televised event takes place at the SAP Center. UFC officials confirmed the bout following an initial report by Fox Sports.

Johnson (17-4) is less than two weeks removed from a sterling performance against Phil Davis at UFC 172 in Baltimore. Appearing in the UFC for the first time since 2012, Johnson dominated Davis in a three-round decision for his seventh consecutive win.

Fighting out of Boca Raton, Florida, Johnson is 8-4 in the UFC overall, mostly competing as a welterweight. He made a permanent move to the 205-pound division in 2012.

Nogueira (21-5) hasn't fought since a decision win over Rashad Evans at UFC 156 in February 2013. The 37-year-old was forced to withdraw from multiple fights during that time due to injury.

The Brazilian will finally look to add to a current two-fight win streak that includes wins over back-to-back former champions. Prior to the Evans win, Nogueira finished Tito Ortiz via TKO in the first round of a bout at UFC 140 in December 2011.
