Dustin Poirier to face Chan Sung Jung
Highly ranked featherweight contender Dustin Poirier will face fellow contender Chan Sung Jung on May 15 in Fairfax, Va., UFC announced Friday on its website.
Poirier and Jung will meet in the UFC on FX 3 main event.
The card will also feature a light heavyweight tilt between Thiago Silva and hard-hitting Igor Pokrajac.
Lightweight contender Donald Cerrone looks to rebound against veteran Yves Edwards. Cerrone had his six-fight win streak snapped Dec. 30 when he came out on the short end of a unanimous loss to Nate Diaz.
Poirier (12-1) makes a quick return to the Octagon after stopping Max Holloway with a first-round submission on Feb. 4. He has won five fights in a row.
Jung (12-3) has won two in a row after experiencing a two-fight skid in 2010.
