Former WEC bantamweight champion Eddie Wineland will look to end a two-fight losing skid June 8 when he meets Scott Jorgensen, UFC announced Friday night.

Wineland (18-8-1) lost by unanimous decision to Joseph Benavidez on Aug. 14. He previously dropped a unanimous decision to former WEC featherweight titleholder Urijah Faber on March 19, 2011.

Before losing his two most recent bouts, Wineland had put together a four-fight winning streak.

Wineland became WEC's first 135-pound champion on May 5, 2006, when he knocked out Antonio Banuelos in the first round.

Jorgensen (13-5) lost by unanimous decision to Renan Barao on Feb. 4 at UFC 143.

UFC has not yet announced a location for its June 8 event, which is being labeled UFC on FX 3.

Flyweight tournament participants Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall recently agreed to a rematch on the card. Johnson and McCall fought to a draw on March 2.
