Lightweight Tony Ferguson will face Michael Johnson on May 5 in East Rutherford, N.J., UFC announced Thursday on its website.
Johnson is the third fighter slated to face Ferguson at UFC on Fox 3. He replaces Thiago Tavares, who withdrew from the bout because of an undisclosed injury.
Tavares had stepped in for Dennis Hallman, who was Ferguson's original opponent for the event.
Ferguson, who won Season 13 of "The Ultimate Fighter," has a 13-2 professional record. He will enter the showdown with Johnson on a six-fight win streak.
Johnson, a TUF Season 12 finalist, is 10-6.
