Travis Browne to fight Ben Rothwell
Hard-hitting heavyweight Travis Browne will meet Ben Rothwell at UFC on Fox 4, the promotion announced Monday night on its website.
The bout will be held Aug. 4 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Browne (13-0-1) made his UFC debut June 19, 2010, knocking out James McSweeney in the first round. He is 4-0-1 inside the Octagon.
In his most recent fight, on April 21, Browne finished striker Chad Griggs with a first-round arm triangle choke.
Rothwell, who has struggled to find consistency in UFC, delivered his best performance with the promotion on April 21 when he knocked out Brendan Schaub in Round 1.
The veteran mixed martial artist enters his fight against Browne with a professional record of 32-8.
