UFC on FX 5 postponed

UFC on FX 5, slated for Sept. 7 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict, the promoters announced Tuesday night.

Bankers Life Fieldhouse, formerly known as Conseco Fieldhouse, currently does not have an event listed for Sept. 7 on its website.

UFC has tentatively scheduled Oct. 5 for its FX 5 event. A location, however, has not yet been determined.

Bankers Life Fieldhouse was the site of UFC 119 on Sept. 25, 2010.

A crowd 15,811 packed the arena to watch former heavyweight champion Frank Mir register a third-round knockout of Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic.
