Little League: Waipio Little League How they got here: Rallied for four runs in the top of the sixth to defeat Idaho's Coeur d'Alene team 5-2 in the Northwest Region championship game. It is the first team from Hawaii since 1988 to advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. The last team from Hawaii to reach Williamsport was Pearl City in 1988, which advanced to the championship game before losing 10-0 to Taiwan. |
