Little League: Southwest Forsythe Little League How they got here: Southwest Forsythe defeated Bridgewater (Va.) Little League, 4-2, in the Southeast Region final. Clemmons scored all four of its runs in the top of the sixth inning, led by Chad Gentry's two-run single, with RBI singles by Chris Sanders and Scott Riggsbee. Prior to this year, North Carolina teams advanced to the Little League Baseball World Series in 1952 (Morresville) and 1998 (Greenville). |
