NBA Power Rankings: Ultimate Warriors

The 15-0 Warriors are one win away from setting a new gold standard in the NBA, and their hold on the No. 1 spot has never been stronger. Where do the 29 other teams fall on Marc Stein's latest list?

Broussard: Suns could beat Dubs tonight

Chris Broussard is still picking the Warriors to improve to 17-0, but with Phoenix's shooting ability and Eric Bledsoe guarding Steph Curry: "If anybody's going to beat them, they are a good team. ... Maybe they got a shot."

J.J. Barea will miss at least the next three games with a sprained right ankle, according to coach Rick Carlisle. "It could have been worse," Carlisle said.

Repercussions for Jahlil Okafor?

Chris Broussard told SportsCenter that the "Sixers are very supportive of Okafor ... but they have to do their due diligence." He added that a lot could hinge on if the man Okafor fought with presses charges.

Stephen Curry: 'We talk about 33'

The Warriors have won 16 straight this season, but already have eyes on matching the NBA's longest win streak, set by the 1971-72 Lakers. Said Curry: "It's important to have tangible goals. ... We talk about 33. I think I've probably talked about it more than anybody else on the team, just because I know about the history and just really how hard it is."

One thing that stood out to Chris Bosh in his matchup with Kristaps Porzingis? How much the Knicks involve the rookie in their offense. "He can spread the floor, put the ball on the floor, can post up, he can do it all. So you have to be aware of that," he said. "They really try to get him going. They involve him in the offense quite a bit so he's going to take a lot of shots. So you just have to conteset them all."

Chris Bosh thinks the Knicks look much more comfortable on offense this year than they did last season. "I think the ball movement has been a lot better. It seemed all around in the offense when they were trying to run the triangle (last season) it kind of got stuck & you could tell guys werent totally comfortable." NY currently ranks 20th in offensive efficiency.

Cops: No Okafor investigation planned

Boston police say they do not plan to investigate an apparent nightclub scuffle involving Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor unless someone involved comes forward to say they were the victim of a crime. Story

After getting hundreds of requests to chime in on the Sixers, here's my few takes on them: their story reminds me of Jurassic Park.

By that I mean; the science is sound. I get what they want to do.But life "finds a way". Chaos is a variable that must be acknowledged.

This team could easily have 3-5 wins, and if so, would anyone be as upset? No. But they lost. The Embiid saga. Okafor's late night fight.

It's just "noise in the system" and it is only heard because of the lack of any win. If Noel were to get hurt again, or Okafor went down...
