Foot injury sidelines Allen for key Celts-Rockets game

The Boston Celtics dodged a bullet in San Antonio on Monday, beating the Spurs without key weapon Ray Allen. They had to navigate the second leg of their Texas swing the same way.

Nursing a bruised heel, Allen sat out on Tuesday, but the Celtics still ended the Rockets' 22-game winning streak -- the second longest in NBA history -- with a 94-74 rout.
