Sore right knee sidelines Curry

NEW ORLEANS -- The New York Knicks scratched reserve center Eddy Curry from the lineup before tipping off against the New Orleans Hornets on Monday night.

Curry missed the Knicks' previous game on Saturday night in Houston with a sore right knee. Team officials initially said Curry's left knee was bothering him before the game against the Hornets but after tipoff clarified that ongoing soreness in his right knee, which has sidelined him most of the season, was the reason Curry wasn't playing.
