Another two weeks of the season were canceled, union leadership was defending itself to its constituents, and there was no real catalyst for shifting the leverage between the two sides. And now the players' nuclear option -- decertification -- is becoming a potential reality. Gloom and doom abounds in the NBA lockout as hope fades for the season.
