Report: J.R. Smith hurts knee in China
Veteran Denver Nuggets guard J.R. Smith appeared to injure his knee while playing in a game for his Chinese team, the Denver Post reports.
Smith, who signed a one-year deal with a squad in Zhejiang in September, appeared to jam his leg while attempting to go for a pass, according to the Denver Post.
Smith had 20 points, five rebounds and four assists before limping off the court and grimacing in pain, the Denver Post said, citing photos and video of the game.
