Report: Bob Vander Weide retiring
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Bob Vander Weide is retiring as Orlando Magic chief executive officer, and team president Alex Martins is being promoted to replace him, a person familiar with the decision said.
The person spoke to The Associated Press Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the Magic have not announced the moves. The team has scheduled a Wednesday news conference.
