MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis guard Antonio Anderson has withdrawn from the 2008 NBA Draft and is returning to school for his final season of eligibility.
He said in a statement released by the school Friday that he'd been projected as a second-round pick, and he was not satisfied with that.
This past season, he was the team's fourth-leading scorer at 8.6 points per game. He tied for the team lead with 49 steals and was second with 136 assists.
Anderson also was the most valuable player of the Conference USA tournament.
