Pretrial hearing set for March 29

LAS VEGAS -- Former NBA star Dennis Rodman pleaded not guilty
Monday to charges of drunken driving, reckless driving and
obstruction in an October motorcycle crash in Las Vegas.

Rodman's lawyer, Karen Winckler, made the plea on Rodman's
behalf. He was not required to appear in court, and Winckler
declined comment after the brief hearing before Las Vegas Municipal
Court Judge George Assad.

The judge set a March 29 pretrial hearing in the case.

The 42-year-old Rodman, who played college basketball at
Southeastern Oklahoma, was treated for minor injuries and released
after he crashed a motorcycle Oct. 19 while doing stunts outside a
strip club.

Rodman now plays for the Long Beach Jam of the American
Basketball Association. He last played in the NBA in 2000 with
the Dallas Mavericks. He won two NBA titles with the Detroit Pistons and three more with the Chicago Bulls.
