Raptors cut three, including Pack

Toronto Raptors: Veteran guard Robert Pack was among three players released by the Raptors on Saturday.

Pack was trying to earn a spot on his ninth NBA team. He last
played with the New Jersey Nets -- his second stint with the club
-- in 2003-04 when he averaged 1.9 points and one assist in 26

Pack totaled four points and four assists in three preseason
games with the Raptors.

Toronto also released guard Tierre Brown and forward Bryant

Brown averaged 9.8 points and 2.5 assists in four preseason

After being named NBDL Most Valuable Player in 2003-04, Brown
appeared in 76 games with the Los Angeles Lakers last season,
averaging four points and two assists.

Matthews averaged 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in three preseason

Washington Wizards: Antawn Jamison and Gilbert Arenas were both
nursing injuries Saturday after early exits from Friday night's
game against Denver.
Jamison bruised his right shoulder in the third quarter of the
97-91 loss to the Rockets in the first game of a doubleheader at
Los Angeles. Arenas got poked in the right eye, also in the third
Jamison was able to practice Saturday, while Arenas sat out.
