Stojakovic sits out with lingering back injury

NORMAN, Okla. -- Peja Stojakovic missed Sacramento's game
against the New Orleans Hornets on Friday night because of a
lingering back problem.

Stojakovic, the Kings' second-leading scorer with 16.6 points
per game, left Wednesday's game against Houston in the third
quarter after re-aggravating a protruding disc in his back. He said
the injury causes problems with a nerve that makes his right leg go

At one point in pregame warmups Friday, Stojakovic made 11
straight and 19 of 20 3-pointers he attempted. He said after

Stojakovic also missed the Kings' game Dec. 22 against Dallas
with the same injury. He's missed a total of seven games this
season, three with a sprained right pinkie finger and two with a
strained right groin.
