Knicks, Pistons without starting PFs after Randolph, Wallace sit out

NEW YORK -- Rasheed Wallace and Zach Randolph both missed Friday's game, leaving the Detroit Pistons and the New York Knicks without their starting power forwards.

Wallace sprained his left ankle Wednesday in a loss at Boston and did not dress. Theo Ratliff, signed Tuesday, started at center in his first game for Detroit this season, with Antonio McDyess shifting to forward.

Randolph missed his fourth straight game with a bruised right foot. He returned to Indiana on Thursday night because of a personal matter and is expected to miss Saturday's game here before rejoining the Knicks in Dallas.

David Lee started again for New York.
