His forte is defense, but he had his best shooting percentage beyond the three-point arc this season at 36.4 percent. He averaged 9.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and two assists per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field. Ariza could be a good part for a Wizards team next season that could make a good run for the players if they stay healthy.","date":"Sat Apr 20"},"fullName":"Trevor Ariza","seasonOutlook":{"outlook":"The fantasy value of mediocre NBA players rises and falls with the talent of their teams. For instance, in his final two seasons with the Lakers, Ariza posted field goal percentages of 52.4 percent and 46.0 percent, respectively. After joining low-end teams like the Rockets and Hornets, his field goal shooting dropped to as low as 39.4 percent. He's now on another low-end team, so expect a poor shooting percentage with decent production in steals, like usual.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Wed Oct 10"},"playerRater30DAY":0.3,"playerRater15DAY":-3.4,"positionRank":32}

Ariza Stars Off The Bench
From Elias: Trevor Ariza came off the bench and scored 26 points to go along with 10 rebounds in the Wizards' victory over the Bobcats. The only other Washington reserve in the last 25 seasons who matched or exceeded each of those totals in a win was Christian Laettner, who had 26 points and 11 boards in a triumph against the Nets in March 2001.
