Through eight NBA seasons, he is yet to live up to the hype he received as the second overall pick in the 2005 draft. Williams is under contract through next season, but the team holds an early termination option they could exercise this off-season. While it's unlikely, should Utah opt to exercise the early termination option, Williams could be available for relatively cheap.","date":"Fri Apr 26"},"fullName":"Marvin Williams","seasonOutlook":{"outlook":"The No. 2 pick in the 2005 NBA draft hasn't exactly lived up to expectations in his seven-year career, but he's turned into a solid, if unspectacular, player nonetheless. Acquired by the Jazz in an offseason trade, Williams is expected to earn the starting small forward job, where he should be able to secure 29-32 minutes per night. Williams does not excel at any one category in the fantasy game, but he's been fairly consistent over the past three seasons, averaging 10.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.7 steals per game. We should expect about the same from Williams in his first season with the Jazz.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Wed Oct 10"},"playerRater30DAY":-2.3,"playerRater15DAY":-4.4,"positionRank":38}

3 Jazz Starters Held Without A Point
From Elias: Randy Foye, Marvin Williams and Earl Watson were a combined 0 for 15 and they each failed to record a point in Utah's overtime loss in Milwaukee. It's the second time in less than two weeks that the Jazz have had three starters held pointless: Foye, Williams and Jamaal Tinsley were blanked by the Clippers on February 23. Before that, the Jazz had never had three scoreless starters in its NBA history.
