Hickson struggled to find minutes in Sacramento's frontcourt early last season, but proved to be a huge fantasy asset once he was acquired by Portland, posting averages of 15.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 31.6 minutes across 19 games for the Blazers. Aside from LaMarcus Aldridge and rookie Meyers Leonard, the Blazers' frontcourt is fairly thin, so Hickson should be able to earn plenty of minutes. Consider him a deep-sleeper selection on draft night.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Wed Oct 10"},"playerRater30DAY":0.6,"playerRater15DAY":-2.1,"positionRank":16}

Hickson Dominates The Defensive Glass
From Elias: J.J. Hickson grabbed 18 defensive rebounds for the Trail Blazers in their victory over the Bulls. It was only the fifth time in the last 35 seasons that a Blazers player recorded as many as 18 defensive rebounds in one game. Marcus Camby did it twice in January 2012, and Joel Pryzbilla (March 2008) and Arvydas Sabonis (February 1998) once each. The last Portland player with more than 18 defensive boards in one game was Bill Walton in December 1977 (20).
